A Conversation with Frank Pennachio – See below.
I usually try to stay away from advertising any company’s services – that what this blog has been known for is no advertising. During the aftershow after my Kawasakian presentation last month, George and Patrick asked me a few additional questions when I brought up Frank’s name.

I have never seen the Academy of Insurance give such a large discount.
Frank has a different outlook than me on quite a few insurance matters. The Academy of Insurance – an Insurance Journal Company – asked me if I would be open to having a live conversation with Frank. I said – sure.
If you are a member of the Academy of Insurance, it is freebies.

The Workers’ Compensation arena is complicated. Every state does its own thing. Every carrier handles its claims differently. Employers aren’t sure how it works sometimes, they just write the premium checks and hope that their premiums don’t go up next year.
We’ve brought together two industry veterans and friends of the Academy, Frank Pennachio and James Moore for a unique discussion about Workers’ Compensation insurance, its present, its future, and anything else that comes up.
Here are some topics that we plan to cover:
- The influence of the Experience Modification Factor on pricing.
- Technology’s influence on the role of the adjuster.
- The role of the insurance company and the agent in the workers’ compensation claim process.
- Any subjects that we disagreed on over the years including Predictive Analytics.

Site looks and works great if you get my comment.
Does Oklahoma aworkman’s comp allow you to buy out of state WC insurance. It said I duplicated a comment.
Thanks for the compliment. We upgraded the website to a new company last month. The old one was too slow. Google website speed said so.
Yes, you can buy out-of-state Workers Comp insurance if you add the state to your policy. The states that you are covered for WC will be on your Declarations Page. Check here for the Walsh Test to make sure the employees are actually out-of-state workers. Thanks for the question
