Industrial Injury Walk-In Medical Clinics – Worth A Look

One of my top recommendations for reducing workers’ comp medical costs while providing excellent care is using industrial injury walk-in medical clinics.  Why is it one of my Six Keys to Cutting Workers’ Comp costs?  – Controlling medical costs using a great risk management technique.  An NCCI study showed that people used non-hospital facilities more often than in the past.

I used to call them walk-in clinics, as most provided general medical treatment and urgent care.  Industrial walk-in medical clinics, or work injury clinics, have become more prevalent over the last two decades. Many specialized urgent care clinics, such as orthopedic or sports injury clinics, are now more popular.
