Rising Medical – 10-Year Workers Comp Claims Report Card – Freebies

What does one have to pay for a 10-year workers comp claims report card including each year’s report?  The answer is gratis.  In 2015, I was invited by Peter Rousmanierre to what he called a Workers Comp think tank in Chicago.

The think tank included C-level Risk Managers from McDonalds, Walmart, and other large corporations.  The think tank was hosted by Rising Medical Solutions.  Other than the large Workers Comp conferences, I had not seen that number of Risk Managers from larger companies in one room at one time.  An in-depth report was produced from the chalkboard meeting.

Last year, Jason and Rachel from Rising Medical helped me out of a tight spot with the info that I needed on a rather quick basis.

Eight Years Later

I recently received an email to sign up for the 2022  10-Year Workers Comp Claims Report Card.  I signed up to pre-order the report.  I recommend that you do the same.  Rising Medical will not spam you.  The link is here.

My favorite report was the 2019 report where the frontline claims adjusters were asked their opinions vs. the Risk Managers If you sign up for the complete report set, the 2019 will be included in the download links.  Comparing C-level Risk Managers’ perceptions with the claims adjusters’  was priceless.

The graphic that I included in this article shows some of the overall results of the 10-year workers comp claim report card.  As one can see from the infographic, a few surprising results came from 10 years of studying Workers Comp risk management including progress areas, persistent challenges, and significant performance variables. I will circle back and write another article on the 2022 Workers Comp Claims Report Card when it is released later this year.
